A multi-skilled engineer, focused on embedded hardware-software interactions and extending into key areas of network & communications (as well as general ICT). I am committed and passionate about all things engineering, with the ability to not only think big, but understand the detail. As an advocate and active contributor to open-source systems I have helped multiple projects to deliver business change and improvements.

Currently heavily involved with the rapidly changing world of IoT I understand the concepts and implementation of protocols like MQTT, AMQP and what should sit on the “device” “edge” or in the “cloud” and the security design required for each.
